It's bad enough that creativity is lacking in Hollywood, but flat out plagiarism? There are countless stories of ideas being stolen and changed enough so they don't get sued, but this is pretty bold. Perhaps they're just getting lazy or there's a disconnect that even the little people need to make a living and they should be paid for their work like everyone else.
